Mātaṅgī Mā is the goddess of humility within mastery. She is the destroyer of obstacles, with a passion for swift and direct strokes. She is the destroyer of darkness, both within and without. Matangi is both the daughter of Rishis and the maker of Rishis. She is the one who offers miraculous yogic powers to the Tapaswi with a humble heart.
